Marco Merendi was born in Faenza on 2 May 1968. In the year 1996 he obtains a degree in Architecture at the University of Florence. Immediately after he leaves for Amsterdam where he collaborates with the studio LITE: daglicht/kunstlicht adviezen. He was in charge of the realisation of lighting objects and lighting projects of large spaces. Actually he lives and work in Milan where his researches and interests range from architecture, design on communication. The key words of his work are: passion, experimentation and magic. Marco Merendi is teaching at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) of Milan.
