SONNEMAN Unveils Waveforms
SONNEMAN recently unveiled Waveforms, the latest addition to its 2017 collection, designed by Robert Sonneman. Waveforms pendants are available in two contemporary shapes: deep bell and broad dome.
The Waveforms collection delivers a luminous interior surface that peeks through a rhythm of undulations, revealing the light. The pendants are available in several sizes and finishes, including satin black with a satin white interior or satin white with an apricot interior, as well as a sconce variation.
Hill8 Apartments by Karim Rashid
Karim Rashid recently unveiled his designs for the new HILL8 residential condominium. Located in Alexeyevsky District, Moscow, the project is now under construction and set to open by the end of 2020. It comprises 295 units within a 408,888 sq. ft. total building area. Built according to green standard sourcing, recycled terrazzo flooring, carpet with low VOC, as well as zero VOC paint and reclaimed wood veneer wall panels, HILL8 is composed of progressive forms with an intimate, warm palette.
“It is a pleasure for me to contribute to the interiors of this project, one that further develops the legend about the seven hills,” Rashid commented. “HILL8 emerges as the pinnacle of renewable and eco-friendly metropolitan efforts in the center of Moscow. The interiors will be fluid and organic, taking cues from nature to create a serene, comfortable environment for future living.”
